German security software provider Link11 acquires Canadian DOSArrest

Link11, Europe’s leading IT security provider in the field of cyber resilience, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of DOSarrest Internet Security LTD to accelerate its market expansion. DOSarrest is a Vancouver-based leading provider of DDoS protection solutions serving customers across North America, Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region. Link11’s scalable platform is superior to the DOSArrest platform and will thus immediately result in an improved service quality for DOSarrest customer worldwide.

With the acquisition of DOSarrest, Link11 strengthens its self-operated network and customer base in Europe, North America, and Asia. The acquired customers include well-known companies and brands from verticals like banking, government, utilities, gaming, ICT, and e-commerce. The base in Vancouver will supplement the company’s local presence.
Jenny Wong, who previously headed the Customer Relationship Department at DOSarrest, will join Link11’s management team as Managing Director. She will lead Link11’s North American and Asia Pacific operations from the Vancouver office.
