Pride Capital Partners announces the opening of its office in Copenhagen. In addition to its offices in Amsterdam and Cologne, this will be the third office of Pride Capital Partners. With local presence in the Nordics, Pride solidifies its investment strategy to empower software and IT services companies throughout Northwestern Europe.
Since its foundation in 2014, Pride Capital Partners has focused exclusively on B2B software and managed ICT services. By investing in hybrid capital, utilizing both private debt and private equity, Pride Capital provides customized investments to its portfolio companies. Over the past years, Pride Capital has experienced exponential growth and has completed over 40 platform investments, currently managing over €200M in capital.
Lars van 't Hoenderdaal, Managing Partner: "The expansion to the Nordics is a logical next step in Pride Capital's ambition to broaden its geographical focus. Having a local presence in the Nordics allows Pride Capital not only to invest in new platform companies but also to support the international buy-and-build strategies of its portfolio companies to Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark."
Pride Capital has already completed its first investment in a Danish company, EasyTranslate, in Q1 of this year. Alongside Easytranslate, Pride Capital sees numerous investment opportunities in the Nordic region and expects to complete its second investment through this expansion shortly.
Bas Welten: "Our clear goal has always been to support companies in the Benelux and DACH regions in realizing their growth ambitions. The unique approach of structuring transactions using both debt and equity sets us apart from our peers. Combining this with our market expertise and experience in buy-and-build, we intend to leverage this same added value for companies in the Nordics."
We would love to get in contact to learn more about each other. Let’s talk about your ambitions and what we can do to turn them into reality.
